Kenneth Rosenman, MD, the principal investigator of this proposal, is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Michigan State University in the College of Human Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
Kari Hortos, DO, is the Associate Dean at the MSUCOM Macomb University Center and a Professor of Internal Medicine at Michigan State University in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hortos is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She completed a one year fellowship in Clinical Nutrition Support at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Hortos also maintains certification as a Nutrition Support Physician from the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and a Physician Nutrition Specialist from the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists.
David Solomon PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Michigan State University in the College of Human Medicine with a joint appointment in the Office Medical Education Research and Development. He is trained as an educational psychologist specializing in educational measurement and evaluation.
Joseph Carlson PhD, RD, is an Associate Professor and Director of the Division of the Sports & Cardiovascular Nutrition Program in the Departments of Radiology and Food Science and Human Nutrition. His training includes human nutrition and dietetics, and exercise physiology and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University Medical School, Center for Prevention Research in clinical studies involving nutrition/dietary supplements and health outcomes.
Deborah Sleight PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Office Medical Education Research and Development. She has a master’s degree in educational systems development and a doctoral degree in educational psychology specializing in instructional design.
Geraud Plantegenest MA, is the Manager of the Blended Curricular Learning Resources Group in the Office Medical Education Research and Development. He has a BA in computer sciences and a master’s degree in telecommunications.
